Dream Team

I Feel Blue - Zara
Addicted to Black - Zara
'Wildfox' Sunglasses - Choies
Nail Varnish 'Marshmallow' - Essie

It's coming to the end of my university life, and surprisingly I feel incredibly relaxed. I don't know if that is because I'm prepared or because I'm in denial of my workload. I am putting together a conceptual fashion magazine so I have an editorial styling shoot booked for the 11th of april. I brought the first top as one of the pieces for the shoot, which is based on removing the stigma of mental illness, with the amazing model Charlie Barker (@CharliexBarker on Instagram) but it is defiantly a peice I am keeping for myself afterwards! As for the black one, well it was a monochrome dream, so just far too tempting to resist.

I also decided to have a blog make over this week (Tar Dar)! I am in the middle of applying for jobs, and a couple ask for my blog as reference so I thought it could use a little spruce (fingers crossed)

I live my life in black and white

Someone justify me buying another pair of roshe trainers, because I need a little help this time. I know it's bad buying a second pair while my others still have paper white soles, but I can't fight the overwhelming urge to own these! I live my life in black and white, and these are just going to aid my monochrome lifestyle. Plus they have palm trees on them, it would be a crime against summer to resist, right?

Trend Alert: Leather Cap

Leather Cap - eBay
Suede Cap - Forever21

Okay, so I am getting a little carried away with summer planning. I have always been a hat girl, I swear for a while my friends wouldn't even of recognised me without one on, however me and hats have fallen out in recent months and I have been showing off the top of my head for far too long. Enter the leather cap! Who isn't a fan of leather, I walk almost head to toe in leather on a far too regular basis, so why not top off the look!

Imagine a cap with cute curls falling either side, thats me this summer.

If you can't pull off leather, go for suede. I am almost equally obsessed with this look, and suede is seriously lacking from my wardrobe at the moment. My inner child is so happy about this trend remembering my childhood with a simple cap upon my head.

P.S. I think I may also wear it backwards, I hope you are all okay with that #90s

My CK

Chrome Waistband Bikini 1, 2
Carousel Brief 1, 2

Okay hopefully summer is right around the corner (fingers crossed) so I have already started planning my summer essentials. I've never really been into brand names and logos but I'm sorry, this summer I am going to be a bit of a brand whore. I love the look of a little monochrome logo poping out the top of your jeans or strapped round your waist, its a good way to add a little detail to a plain outfit.

Calvin klein obsession is growing, the 90s ads need republishing because thats how I want to wear my CK. Please bring back low raise jeans this summer, because I'm bored of all this high waisted and to be honest I like the bottom half of my stomach/hips better then that small questionable bit below my bra.

OH, P.s. I now have an Instagram: @PaleAesthetic

Someday

Top - Zara
Trousers - Zara
Blazer - H&M
Shoes - Topshop
Bag - Ebay

This is mildly a post repeat, as I posted that I wanted this outfit not long ago. Obviously my will power is not up to tack as I only waited a day to buy it! Defiantly going to abuse this outfit in summer without a jacket and maybe some white accessories.

So this weekend I had an amazing weekend trip to London! I actually love everything about the city and dream of the idyllic lifestyle there after uni, working in a posh London fashion office, going for cocktails, wearing heels everyday etc etc.

I visited the design museum to see the Paul Smith exhibit which I highly recommend going to, was so amazing to see the whole behind the scenes settings and walls of inspiration, not to mention the colourful Paul Smith mini! No trip to London would be complete without a very large shopping trip, however I am so FMP focused atm I ended up spending most of  my money on books and magazines for my uni project. Selfridges magazine collection is by far the best I've been too, they had all the ones I usually have to buy online. However did get some cute vintage bargains at Camden.

DO NOT USE: John Frieda, Go Blonder, Lightening Spray

Okay so this is a little different from my usual posts, I have had that day from hell today, and a huge part of that is because of this product. I used this last summer, as apart from ombre, I have never really dyed my hair, and after reading about the results people had got from this thought it would be a good way to lighten my hair gradually. Don't get me wrong, it was, for a while anyway, then it went a bit orange. I know it says just for blondes so I expected it, and was still happy was my lighter hair, as I have always hated my almost black hair.

HOWEVER! I decided to actually get my hair dyed, like properly in a salon, as I have always wanted lighter hair. So I plucked up the courage to make a hair appointment and discovered that...

NO SALON WILL TOUCH MY HAIR!

Because of 'metallic salts' in this product, if a hair dye was to be applied my hair it is very likely to "smoke, burn and break off." I went to 3 different places and the results were the same. Most said they were not insured to dye my hair all because of this product. The second I named this product my consultation was over, they wouldn't touch it. My only option is to wait for it to all grow out, one said at least a year (even after the year since using the product) The others stated that I have to wait for the whole thing to grow out and be cut off! I don't know about you but my hair really doesn't grow that quick, so this is going to take a while, and the news that it's going to have to be cut off before it can be dyed when all I want is long hair is the worst ever.

Celine Meets Zara

Buckle Belt Top - Zara
Buckle Belt Skinny - Zara

Welcome to my Celine inspired Sunday want to wear! Looking into spring outfit ideas and stumbled across these! I want them so bad, I'm dribbling right now, but i've decided to stop impulsively buy things... So maybe I'll buy them tomorrow!

These trousers also come in a baggy version, which I also adore, and would be great for a job interview, however look a lot more low rise then the skinny fit ones, and so a crop top with them would be a bit to much!

Ozeal Glasses

Top - Sold Out
Middle - Here
Bottom - Sold Out

So, I recently found out I can't see. Honestly just thought I was tired all the time and thats why things were so burly, turns out I need glasses. I know glasses can be really expensive and the ones I see in store are so boring - If I have to wear glasses, they are going to be a fashion statement! - but I found this amazing website that is just so cheap, and I have already brought 3 pairs! They have deals on all the time, I managed to get 50% off around valentines day, meaning that I got 3 pairs for less then £80! They also have this great virtual try on thing, and live chat for any questions, check it out!

Current Promo Code, 40% off - 'Spring40'

Check out below for some outfit planning with the glasses...

The Leather

Leather Dungarees  - Romwe
Bando - Forever 21
Nike Trainers - ASOS

Seen so many of the half clear glasses recently, so loved these ones! Paired them with my leather dungarees and nikes, perfect summer outfit.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Tartan

'Acne' Jumper - SheInside
Skirt - Zara
Boots - ASOS

These are my favourite pair, they suit my face shape more then any of the others, and the tortoise shell goes well with my ombre hair, highly recommend a non black pair, as black can get little boring. This is basically my typical uni outfit, I'm more a skirt then a trouser person, and its been so cold recently, I've been leaving in these jumpers.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Denim

Coat - Primark
Necklace - Zara
Belt - H&M
Shoes - Topshop
Top - Zara
Jeans - Primark (Mens)

I choose these glasses as basically I had a fake pair just like them, and knew I felt comfortable wearing them. This is an outfit style I see on so many bloggers, especially over LFW. It's so simple and easy to pull off, most of these clothes are really old, but still such a great outfit, paired with my grafea bag
