Sandals & Sunglasses

Black Sandals - Topshop
Ribbed Crop Top - Topshop
Birkenstocks - Topshop
Mesh Jumper - Zara
All Sunglasses - Primark

Oh hello optimism. Welcome back to a little summer planning, I've posted before about wanting a pair of Birkenstocks, and obviously with my little will power to resistance I got a pair! While I was trying them on, I spotted this large buckled topshop pair, and became obsessed, they remind me of the textured senso pairs I can't afford, unfortantly I think I may of brought the last pair (sorry)!

(Birkenstock sizing - I kept reading everywhere that they come up large and you should size down, so I went into schuh to try some on and neither a 5 or 6 fitted, however Topshop stock the narrow version, which fitted perfect in my normal size with the straps tightened a little, so highly recommend this is you are going to get a pair for summer!)

I'm actually planning a trip traveling round Italy over summer! Which should be incredible as I have honestly dreamt of going there my whole life and never been, however other then that I don't want a summer, I want a job! I know I shouldn't be wishing my life away like that but I'm bored of deadlines that count for nothing but a grade, I am so excited to achieve something.

Adidas Originals

I'm not really a prints kinda gal, but I am loving the new adidas original collection especially the 'Frutaflor' print, I'm always a sucker for a bit of blue and who doesn't love a good matching two piece! It's obviously meant as more of a fashion collection then sports wear, but I bet I can still get away with wearing it at the gym?

P.S. I haven't had much time for recreational fashion at the moment, with my photo shoot/magazine and dissertation (Defiantly meant to be typing my dissertation rather than a blog post right now!) but I have however still managed to put in a substantial order from Bershka, which has some little gems online right now, highly recommend checking it out!

Cracking Paint

Shirt - ASOS
Trousers - Zara
Socks - Ebay
Shoes - Ebay/La Moda

I love this whole cracked paint/marble print that is popping up everywhere. When I saw this shirt it was out of stock, but I literally sat refreshing the page every few hours for two days hoping one would come back in stock and luckily one did. I either have a problem or a gift.

La moda's shoes at the moment are so amazing. I've been ordering most of my shoes from china wholesale sites for the past year, as no shops over here had this style, and if they did they were so over priced. Recently River Island has jumped on the trend, however still at about £50+ so when La Moda started stocking the chunky soled sandals I got so excited! I am currently lusting over the hologram version of these, they my dream shoe. I do however think I need to sell somethings before I start buying more, as my two wardrobes are fighting back and deciding to take the floor for their own.

Birkenstock Requirement

If you are not planning on getting a pair of these for summer then I  think you may be breaking some kind of law. The only reason I haven't got a pair yet is because I cannot for the life of me decided between white or black #firstworldproblems. Who else had a pair of these when they were about 12?

A fair few places are charging the big bucks for these, even ebay are selling some for almost £60. Missguided did have a pair for around £20 but I was too slow off the mark and they sold out before I had a chance to get them. I checked out this site fashionchick.co.uk which brings together a variety of brands on one site. These sites are always great when you are at loose end for more shops to try when after a specific thing! Why did I not know about this when my fussy house mate was dragging me around endless shops to find the perfect pair of trainers for about a month!

Belated Grafea

Pink Leather Camera Bag - Grafea
Leather Rucksack (Bianca) - Grafea

So I only just realised that I have never posted about my Grafea bag! I got my white backpack over a year ago now and we have been inseparable ever since. It fits my Macbook in perfect so I use it for uni, and all the compartments make it perfect for a weekend away, not to mention how it has now recently become my gym bag too! It works for so many things, and because it is white and so simple in design it goes with every outfit. I know it's look a little 'loved' now, but in my opinion, it's like converse, just getting better with age.

Being the massive Grafea fan that I am, I recently caved and brought the baby pink camera case. It is a bit of a deeper pink then it appears on the website, but still very on trend. I have a new logic when shopping at the moment; with uni almost over, I am only buying things that are going to help me look professional and like I have more of a disposable income then I will inevitably have, as I believe I will have a (hopefully short) future of insane budgeting, so it is all about investment pieces.
